Karishma Kasabia.
The Specs
Karishma is one of those confused kids who grew up during a coup in Fiji and has managed to live in Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and UK to date. She comes from a family of doctors, engineers, lawyers and accountants. Her inner rebel pushed her towards design but there must be a tad of Indian-ness that couldn’t help itself – and she now is the business owner / creative director / boss lady at Kish+Co.
Kish has often been told she has that rare mix of a business brain, with a creative brain.
She has worked closely with teams at Simplot, GWF, Melbourne Business School, Saint Gobain, Carbon Market Institute and more. All have been through referral, something very right is happening here. Those are the larger companies, however she likes the non-intimidating meeting thats at a cafe (anything outside a boardroom will do) with her clients that own accounting firms, cafes, fashion boutiques and all sorts really.
Building the studio, from a minimal start as a freelancer in 2008, Kish has grown the business to over 150 clients and now has the studio space she dreamed of with brick walls and high ceilings and white walls. Gush.

Business Building
She’s had to do this herself with Kish+Co and with her product brand, Kish & Evie. Her clients often approach her for ideas on business growth, launches, marketing, social media and creative thinking that builds a brand. She’s regularly reading up on sites like Inc.com and FastCompany to stay in the know.
The strength in her approach, is understanding YOU and what YOU want. Then doing the same for your company (you and your company aren’t the same person!).
Goodness
Karma is a bitch. She doesn’t like to make her bite. Kish is good and so are her team. Easy to work with, understanding, modular and happy to be laughed at (on the odd occasion).
